LOVE IT! TRUE MAGIC LIVES IN THE AULD TALES AND IN YOURS, RENEWED. I also am a writer and a walker into mysterious woods. If I had written what I just read from your Tanglewood, I would say that I was having a fantastic day--and right in tune. May the muses of Nature continue to sing through your soul!

Hi Scott- great reading at the Smithtown Library Sept. 15th-
Previously read and loved your first book- but after the reading went home to re-read it looking for the descriptions of the Wood again (now that you told is where you got some of the inspiration from!)
Waiting for the next story!!

:D Read the "Whole" book this time, and I have to admit, I could not put it down.
Both my granddaughter & I have a "thing" (if you will) for faryies always have. I have purchased many a figuriens for her, (ok, as well as myself) and while reading this book, our little figuriens seemed to spring to life. I am now helping Brittany read the book and she is loving it, not to mention it has brought us closer with each page we read together. Thank you Scott. Now, could u please put a rush on the next book :D .

Hey Scott,
Oddly enough, I found your website/blog while searching for Tanglewood Preserve. My name is Larry Parente, we worked at Hodes Long Island together. Just wanted to say that I'm really impressed with your work. I had no idea what a talented and creative writer you are! It must be really exciting to have your dreams and aspirations come to fruition. I admire your courage and ambition to transform those dreams into reality.

I wish you continued success in the future!

Sincerely,
Larry Parente

The more I look, the greater the impression. Hard works payoff, and a lot of talent - it shows. Best wishes on current and future tales.

We both wish you the very best of luck with your book. We always knew that you would be published one day. Can't wait to read it.

May this be the start of bigger and better things to come and the doorway to a future as bright as you are.

Love, Mom & Dad

I have always been a writer, since the days of early childhood, when I was first able to put my dreams into words.

Many years have passed since those days, and until now, I saw fit to happily labor away at a multitude of short stories and longer story ideas, with the idea in mind that I would one day publish a collection.

I am proud of all my stories, but The Tales of Tanglewood is not just a story. It is the culmination of many years worth of dreams. It is a wish upon a star, glowing brightly in the midnight sky. It is a childhood fantasy of wonder and magic brought to life.

Partially inspired by my love for fantasy and folklore, and also my love for my wife, whose ideas contributed to much of the story, I would hope that anyone who reads it can feel the same magic I felt when writing it.
